Attended the Scrum session by Pete from Yahoo! Lots of interesting tidbits about experiences with scrum in Yahoo! One question was whether scrum is relevant in a geographically distributed team environment – turns out the yahoo podcast stuff was developed in that exact same model.
The latest _in_ thing in marketing is "Pinko" marketing – held forth by Tara Hunt of Riya – basically how to market on "no" budget. Lot of heated arguments about how to target the community for marketing stuff.
The session on Taazza – the latest thing on the news aggregator scene – is – hold your breath – based on ruby on rails!!! yay! The pre-alpha screen looks pretty snazzy.

Jace had a sweet session on Livejournal Bangalore community about the various written and unwritten rules of the community. Lot of discussions on the requirement for moderation of posts, applicability of democracy vs autocracy.
